Not just any wedding - not just any pictures

LEXsample is the name I (Lex van Groningen) use to present my photographs, including weddings. Here you find samples of my photographs and information on how I work and pricing information. For the two of you too I'd like to create a series of photographs that perfectly captures the atmosphere of the day and that you are really pleased with.

Rings and witnesses, a cake, a welcome and a party... every marriage has its fixed ingredients. However, taking photographs is all but a standard job. Fortunately LEXsample is ready to roll in all sorts of directions (please!). What is standard LEXsample though is the following:

Good contact :: friendly, personal, and informal
Good communication :: fast replies. Agreements with you and other people involved
Good preparations :: we'll discuss the roll-out of the wedding day and if you wish to, we can shoot a series of test photographs in advance.
Good price :: LEXsample certainly isn't overpriced!
Good pictures :: LEXsample delivers high-quality photographs, shot with professional gear only. A mix of classic and creative pictures, without losing the eye for detail. Photographs that everyone will look back on for years to come.
Fast delivery :: After the wedding is over, I start to work on the photographs. It is possible to have a selection of photographs online the next day. Within just a couple of days you will receive one or more DVD discs with all the photographs. More time will be required to put together a wedding album.

In all situations, I'd like to take your ideas and wishes as my point of departure.

Want to meet?

A wedding is something personal and emotional, so I really would like to meet with you in advance so we can get to know each other. I'd like to use this opportunity to show you some (LEX)samples to give you an idea of the quality. If you wish to, we can schedule another date for a test shoot.

Test shoot

Not everybody is used to stand in front of the camera. I prefer to meet up for a test shoot a couple of weeks before your actual marriage. Maybe we can visit the site(s) where the wedding will take place; this often triggers good photo ideas for the actual wedding day. We can take the opportunity to discuss the program of the day and maybe I can assist the selection of locations and advice on the time we will need to take photographs. This test shoot is at cost-price only, and of course you will receive these photographs too.

Pricing

LEXsample only charges for what you want. The flat rate includes the basics - and maybe that is all you need. Additional wishes will be charged seperately. I cannot provide pricing information for all services because the price mainly depends on what you want (material, quality, etc). In these cases, the table below reads ‘Ask'.

All prices include 19% TAV.

Flat rate wedding photographs
Includes: 4 hours photographing on your wedding day costs of travelling (within 25km of Amsterdam, Netherlands) processing of digital photographs after the wedding One (or more) DVD's containing the high-resolution photographs + shipment	€ 500,-
Rates for additional services
Test photoshoot:	€ 50,-
Additional hours of photography at wedding. Per hour:	€ 50,-
Pictures on internet - Right after the wedding a selection of pictures can be published on a private internet link that you can share with family and friends:	€ 50,-
Costs of travelling (if beyond 25km of Amsterdam, Netherlands) :: The costs may be higher if the location is remote.	€ 50,-
Wedding album :: There are many possiblities with regards to quality, layout and presentation.	(ask)
Enlargements and other prints :: available at various sizes and a selection of professional printing paper.	(ask)
Framed photographs or canvas prints (or other materials)	(ask)
Production of invitation, thank-you cards, etc. From layout to printing	(ask)
