A new series of portraits, this one with Naomi on it, has been added to the page people. Furthermore, I have been busy setting up distribution points for my birds postcards, currently only sold here in the Netherlands (therefore, these pages are only in Dutch and do not show up in the English menus).

LEXsample celebrates its first birthday! The site has been on-line for one year now...
One week on Terschelling island is a new series of photographs that I took at the end of last summer. You will also find here some new wallgrounds for your PC from this series.

LEXsample will be present at the Dutch Bird Fair (Vogelfestival), which will take place on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 August at the Oostvaardersplassen (near the city of Lelystad). The LEXsample stand will be selling bird postcards; half of the benefits will be donated to the Godwit project in Tunesia, run by Vogelbescherming Nederland (Birdlife partner). Six freshly taken Luka Bloom photographs have been added depicting the gig he played with Suzi and Claudia at the Concerto music store in Amsterdam (18 April 2004).

Protection of grassland birds is a new series of photographs taken only recently, allowing you to get an impression of the work done by volunteers (including myself) trying to avoid a reduction in numbers of these birds that belong to the Dutch agricultural landscape. All photographs have been taken north of Amsterdam. In the course of the following weeks new photographs in this series will be added.

A new series of photographs of Piter Wilkens & Frisian Junior Brass Band has been added. These pictures were taken at their Greideroas charity concert for the church of Dronryp (17 December 2000)

A creative and colourful 2004 to all LEXsample visitors! You will find a new wallpaper which shows Amsterdam on the first day of the new year. What more has been added and updated?

Nature & bird trips is a new section where you will find a summary of beautiful trips, with practical information in case you're thinking of going there yourself. And not only great photographs, of course, but also sound samples. (Removed in 2005)
The screen layout has been optimized (more space available, less navigation) and English has been added as language.
The Contact page has been added. This page also explains how to add yourself to the LEXsample mailing list.
The Links page has been updated.

After the first succesful on-line lauch, some pages have been added:

Amsterdam autumn contains 12 photographs for this time of the year, taken in the city's Vondelpark and Sloterdijk area. It's the first series of nature photographs. (Removed in 2005)
LEXsamples for you offers a wallpaper you can download. More wallpapers will be offered here for free in the future on a regular base.
Feedback will be published on this page, where you can also find the email address to send your feedback.
Links lists the other websites were photographs made by LEXsample can be found.
Finally, a copyright notice, to remind visitors of LEXsample of the reproduction rights.

www.lexsample.nl goes on-line! The first series of photographs are to be found in the photo album, under the section music. The series show two concerts of the Frisian singer Piter Wilkens. The first serie has been shot at the village of St. Annaparochie (31 October). The second serie is from the next day, when Piter peformed with the band Da Capo, in Romein theatre (Leeuwarden).
