LEXsample photographs are available as exclusive postcards. Select from regular or folded postcards. Both types offer excellent quality:
  • crisp and full colour stunning wildlife images.
  • king size
  • ready to send! (printed on sturdy paper)
  • the cards are printed on FSC certified paper, to ensure a sustainable management of the forest. Check www.fsc.org
  • wrapped in a transparent bag which is resealable to protect the postcards.

All postcards are printed in limited quantity, so therefore they are pretty (and) unique and not generally available. A nice gift idea for family and friends!

Storm petrels are perfectly adapted to life at sea. Thus, all these photographs were taken at sea or close to their colony. This set contains photographs of the of the Royal albatross, a close-up of a Black-browed albatross above the ocean, the white morph of the Southern Giant Petrel, the all-white Snow petrel and a beautiful photograph of one of the smaller petrels, the Antarctic Prion.

  • The information on the flip side of each post card is provided in English.
  • Besides the scientific name the names are provided in English, Dutch, German, French and Spanish.
Postcards of this set all have a banner in the upper left corner printed in the upper left corner to promote BirdLife International's albatross campaign.

This set contains five animal species from Antarctica: a foraging Humpback Whale, a peacefully resting Weddell Seal and three species of penguin: an Adélie on an iceberg, two braying Gentoo Penguins and a well-fed Chinstrap Penguin returning to its colony.

A limited number of these postcards has been printed to accompany the Nomads of the Ocean exhibition, organised by Vogelbescherming (Birdlife Netherlands) and LEXsample. These folded cards offer a lot of space to write your personal message. The pictures include a Wandering Albatross in the evening light, a Light-mantled Albatross guarding its chick, a Yellow-nosed Albatross in flight and a flock of Wilson's Storm Petrels dancing above the water surface.
